Does anyone know how to make a zero deposit tenancy? I’m doing room by room but its still asking the applicants for a deposit.

I’m not 100% sure, but are you confusing the difference between a holding deposit and a tenancy deposit? If so, we have some guidance here:
If you’re setting up the tenancy with OpenRent, we’ll take a holding deposit even if the tenancy/security deposit is set to £0.
If you’re referring to a deposit replacement (sometimes called “Nil Deposit” / “Zero Deposit”), then we have guidance for that here: https://help.openrent.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360028373692-Do-you-support-Nil-Deposit-schemes-
If neither paths are the issue you’re referring to, then would you mind elaborating some more and I’ll do my best to help.
