I have just paid a holding deposit on a property via the RentNow service. My landlord has disclosed that he would be open and interested to proceed with the zero deposit option however I know that this is not currently an option with the RentNow service. So does anyone know how I could proceed with this as both of us are happy to do so? Thank you!
If you are correct, I suggest you place a £1 holding deposit - you could try 1 penny!
I used Open Rent to advertise and reference check my tenant, but not their contract, hence not RentNow. I guess that is the reason I did not have your problem - I did not ask for a holding deposit either.
