With my recent Gas safety inspection, the gas engineer correctly pointed out that my Gas meter is too close to the Consumer Unit (fuse box). Regulation require them to be 150mm apart at least.
The consumer unit was installed in 2022, since then, the property is rented out and the gas safety is done every year by the OpenRent appointed engineers. How come this is the first time someone pointed it out to me? I lost the opportunity to challenge the cowboy electrician did the dodgy job. So I want to make a complaint of all the gas engineers did the inspection in the past. If they cannot spot this obvious error, what goods are they to find the real problems?
Can someone please tell me how to contact OpenRent about this? I could t find an obvious link for it.
