How to rent guide - dated May 2019. The government then changed it in June 2019 and in August 2019 (SILENT AMENDMENTS). They didn’t change the date. They didn’t add a version number & it’s a source of confusion!! Warning don’t be caught out!
There have been many versions since then and if you do serve an S21, it’s always good practice to re-serve all relevant paperwork at the same time anyway, including the current How to Rent guide.
I did this I served the latest guide (used solicitors) but the case was adjourned as they said the how to rent was incorrectly dated! I know there’s been a lot of editions. I’m only concerned with the one that was relevant at the time of the tenancy which technically was August 19 but not my fault it’s dated May 19. It’s just a warning for fellow landlords
