Can you not speak to the landlord and ask him to deal with it?

Yes the landlord did send pest control. However I am still being bitten the chemicals are causing my mother eye issues (she’s 80).
I simply want to leave, I don’t want to keep having to clean/vacuum and wash all of my belongings every day. These damn things lay eggs it’s a long term problem. I’ve only moved in last week. Why should I have to deal with this
You may well end up taking the pests to the next property.
I am not saying this applies to you but it is well documented that infestations in rentals occur through transfer people carrying insects in their bedding etc
I experienced it once with carpet beetles but after treatment it resolved
We now pass on charges to tenants
It’s also another reason not to allow pets
