ICO Fees Data Protection

Well its that time of year again and the lovely Information Commissioners Office demanding their annual fee for data protection etc, since GDPR rules seem to have gone out the window this year for obvious reasons relating to Covid, track n trace, signing in everywhere, having to hand over details willy nilly for bookings etc, how is this BS fee still even applicable?

Regards

Its a tax .tax, tax, tax. tax, tax. tax.

Yep, its not so much the amount (£40 if i recall) its the ridiculous purpose of it. Everyone is a data controller in their interpretation just by having a mobile phone for example. Another piece of the already small pie to hand over…GGGGRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I firmly believe that there are gov advisors out there that are manipulating laws and thinking how can we screw the people more and I still stay in my job?

I firmly agree, and this is a big deep rabbit hole to go down mentioning our illustrious leaders and taxation. :-p
