Is there Contract e-Sign service?

thx David. our contract happens to have left a window open by saying at the end of the term a new contract ‘may’ be drafted. So by not drafting a new contract and agreeing on rolling, it should be fine for now, although we suppose we need to put this down on paper ie. rolling.

We’re thinking to update to a new contract next yr that is either from gov.uk or OR. :folded_hands:

@eee always good to put on paper /email what you and tenant agree the contract means (after verbally discussing if appropriate) so you have it documented

I’m sure tenant will appreciate certainty too

I dont believe there is any way to stop it becoming a periodic tenancy, although at the moment its possible for the tenancy periods to be other than monthly, eg quarterly, 6 monthly or yearly.

@David122 doesn’t matter in this case anyway as @eee wants the tenancy to continue beyond its initial 12month term.

Just post it to them. Why are you meeting up in person? It’s not the 18th century.
