What’s people view of Labours proposal to introduce legislation that forces LL to sell to T at discounted price which is set by government?
I can’t see this ever happening, it would be far too damaging. Just a vote winner.

I doubt they would be able to get this past the house of lords for starters
Havent Labour already abolished S21? Doesn’t Labour want to cap rent and introduce legislation that prevents tenants being evicted within the first two years of a tenancy regardless if the landlord has an emergency and needs to sell? Don’t they also want to prevent evictions if the tennant fails to pay their rent and introduce a Hardship Test so if the tenant will be worse off than the landlord they cant be evicted? Do you think some of it will get through, perhaps watered down a bit?
No this hasn’t happened…yet.
