Labour set to tax landlords more

Beware Landlords Labour plans to tax us more . The best days are over ,start selling and get out. Try to sell to owner occupiers so that the rental sector reduces and stitches up the government

Property portals are already full of magnolia BTL’s some still with tenants in.
I’m keeping my flat, I’ve got good tenants and low overheads & just got EPC C :slightly_smiling_face:

I was at a landlord law conference the other day

An interesting perspective was not to sell whilst labour was in situ
Wait till there is a conservative government and then sell

If the PM can’t define working class ( people who get a pay check at the end of the month but don’t have enough clearance to write a check ) I’m hoping he won’t be in for too long

provided conservatives repeal laws the labour gov introduce … But there are more “poorer” people in the country to vote labour, than “better off” to vote conservative, maybe??

Nigel Lawson did
We can but hope
Labour have said
‘Landlords and shareholders are not working people ‘
You’re a joiner but because you have assets labour don’t see you as working class

I go to work but don’t get a pay check because I’ve used the money to perform energy efficient measures to meet their requirements

So I work for no money what is that defined as ?

Doctors and lawyers go to work and get a pay cheque and invest their spare money in shares and assets
( saving for a rainy day )

It’s like that girl who when asked by John Prescott ‘was she working class ?’replied

‘I don’t work so I’m not working class ‘…

The PMs definition is as ridiculous as hers. Where do they get their ideas from ?

if you spent your money at bet365 alcohol and cigarettes/ vapes and couldn’t write a check that would clear because you have no funds well labour is here for you
If your check doesn’t clear at the end of the month don’t waste your money on unnecessary stuff you’ll have money left over

They are hitting everyone so the pay rises will be worthless

I’m not sure it was worth it
