Long-Term Family Seeking 3-Bed Home in Trowbridge (July/August)

Hello,
We’re a small family looking for a 3-bed property in Trowbridge to rent, ideally from July or August (with some flexibility for the right home).

A little about us:
2 adults and our 3-year-old child.
2 older, small/medium dogs that are extremely well-behaved, quiet, and used to living in family homes.
Non-smokers, quiet, respectful, and house-proud.
We’re looking for a long-term rental, somewhere we can genuinely call home and raise our child, not a short stop-gap.

Employment & stability:
One of us is employed (5+ years with the same employer) and also self-employed (8+ years experience).
One self-employed since November 2025 after returning from maternity leave and take time off to be with our child in the early years.
Stable, professional income and financially responsible with no large financial commitments.

We take pride in looking after where we live and are more than happy to carry out routine upkeep and treat the property as our own. We value clear communication and a straightforward, respectful relationship with a landlord.

References and proof of income can be provided promptly on request.

Out of interest, what is the reason you wish to rent direct from private landlord as opposed to via an estate agent?

We’re not 100% opposed to estate agents, however we have found in the past that private landlords are a lot more accommodating when it comes to having pets, and it feels like long term tenants are actually valued

But again, we’re not opposed to going through an estate agent, dealing direct is just our preferred route.
