Messages censoring contact number or zoom call with an applicant

Hi, first time using this Platform as a Landlord -

Could anyone help with How do I chat / call with an applicant .

I would like to arrange a phone call or zoom meeting prior to offering a viewing or accepting / proceeding with their application.
The message service is censoring out our messages where we try to swap numbers or mention phone or to arrange video / Zoom call .
I need to personally chat with any applicants first before proceeding any further.

This seems the most basic thing , a Landlord or tenant should do to meet and vet each other . Especially before proceeding with accepting an application .

if I then think they are suitable tenants, I will do a remote viewing and first use the Tenant check facility here.

It seems absolutely reckless & backwards to accept a tenants application with out having a meeting with them first.

Go in to the listing, select the applicant, go to manage, go to request contact information.

Are you a Rent Now landlord, ! think maybe you do not have full functionality if not?

Hi Ray, no .. the Rent now function appears to be ridiculous & dangerous for all parties . That and the application process . Who would sign up a tenant in 72 hours , without taking the time to speak in zoom call initially, then have a viewing & actually meeting, then a few days to do checks.
I can’t believe the platform is pushing us work that way . Unless you’ve got properties you don’t care about and don’t care about who rents them.

I’ve had multiple applications for people that can’t even string a sentence together , but want to rent now, pay now, see property today! Its nuts .

Nobody has to sign up to anything within 72 hours. the Process works absolutely fine for me.

Tenants makes enquiries,

Auto reply asked them a selection of questions so I can assess if they are suitable

I arrange viewings with some

I do Right to rent checks at viewings

I might also ask at this time for some other info (eg bank stats etc).

I then select my preferred applicant & invite them to ‘RentNow & pay the holding deposit.This gives me a timeframe to action their deposit.

I accept their holding deposit & order referencing which solves the above timeframe issue. This takes the property off the market.

After referencing, I say yes or no, and issue the contract.

…. Simples….
