It looks like your questions are covered in a Help Centre article here.
While your advert is paused it is hidden from searches (on OpenRent, Zoopla, Rightmove, etc.) so that it does not show in any tenant searches.
The advert does however remain visible to tenants who already have the web address (URL) and wish to make an enquiry or continue an ongoing one.
Landlords can de-list their property to stop advertising altogether.
