A sensible landlord will interpret the results accordingly and recognise that they cannot just slavishly reject based on a credit check fail.
I have housed many software engineers coming from India and usually ask for evidence of job and savings. Some landlords may ask you for a UK based home owning guarantor, which Im guessing would be tricky. Others might ask for 6 months advance rent. I almost never do either if the tenant can easily afford the property.
