No hot water for 10 days

How long can a landlord leave you with no hot water ?

In needs to be dealt with as soon as possible
Legally one has a reasonable amount of time but hot water and heating are a priority

Can you explain what measures, if any, he/she has done?

Are they proactive? Is there a fix in sight?

10 days is a long time and I would expect some kind of compensation.

This is the second time without hot water the first time was 9 days I’ve had 4 engineers out yesterday the landlord promised electric shower to be fitted today, but now she said Monday

So it’s only for a few days you are without hot water? This is acceptable, as long as they are on the case. Need to give time to arrange for tradesmen and repairs, this can take some time.

A few days this is the 10th day

And it’s the second time it’s happened

At least she’s communicating with you
That’s a good sign
Tradespeople are unreliable
What is the issue that four engineers are needed

Ok, misread your last post.

This is dragging now. See what the outcome is Monday. There is no legal time limit, but needs to be reasonable.

I’d perhaps seek some kind of comp if not resolved then, but as long as they are addressing it.

I’ve only been in this property since April 19th and the amount of problems we have had is unbelievable

Keep a log of communications. Is it through an agent or direct to ll?

It’s through a agent
