My tenant has just moved to the UK and doesn’t have a UK Payment Card for the holding deposit, how do I get around this and accept a payment from his international bank account?

You need to make sure he knows he’ll be charged by his bank for transfer
If you are using Openrent Rent Now, the above advice may be incorrect, as the payment will be going to Openrent, not you. I do not know whether a BACS option exists for holding deposit & first months rent etc. I suspect it does. I’d be sending this message to Openrent… via ‘Need Help / send a message options’.
So this peraon is you “prospective” tenant have you done all the necessary checks if they dont have a British Bank account how do their wages or benefits get paid are they actually working or claiming benefits (can they go into an international bank acc)
Where has the person come from.are they allowed to rent somewhere in the UK?
