Hi I have taken the paid landlord service that includes tenant findings and other vetting services from Openrent. Surprisingly I haven’t received even a single viewing request after upgrading from free to paid service. This is very disappointing . Please suggest how I can improve viewings and how to contact Openrent if there is any glitch in terms my property ad.
OR do not offer a tenant find service, they are an advertising portal. I think you’d be best to look at their price plans & be sure what you have paid for to avoid any confusion.
Have you upgraded to RentNow, which is a digital contract signing option, or upgraded to advertise on Rightmove. Neither guarantee’s any tenant find or number of enquiries.
If you are not receiving enquiries, then compare your ad & pricing to others in the area.
Doesnt include ‘tenant findings’.

Check your property against other similar size properties in the area. Is your price too high, do they offer more than you? Do your photos show your property at it’s best. Dim lighting, clutter, un made beds, overgrown gardens, mould etc. will put people off.
I agree with Alan June that the listing wording and photos are likely to be a problem if no one is responding - unless of course the price is set far to high.
In our latest listing we received over 120 requests to view in the first 24 hours. We paid to place it on Rightmove as well and we did a survey later of the applicants we selected to view (just 6 applicants) and 4 of the 6 had used Rightmove to find the listing. But the key feature is to give a very detailed description of the property and the location and the landlord’s attitude to selecting a tenant. Our listing was perhaps almost 10 times longer in description than most listings by agents or other landlords. Although we rent our properties as unfurnished only we show photos of them furnished with good quality furniture and fittings / decoration etc and in an extremely tidy condition (no dishes in the sink or clothes on the unmade beds) as this makes a huge difference. All these points make a property immediately stand out as desirable as long as the rent level is correct. We selected new tenants who moved in the day after the previous tenants lease ended so literally zero void period. This allows a more reasonable rent level to be set of course.
