None standard contruction house council estate

  • I am not sure this is on the correct board please advise if not.

I am thinking of buying a house as a buy to let. The council house was originally a timber frame with a flat roof in later years they made improvements by putting on a slate roof that was supported by brick walls built around the original frame. In this day and age would this be classed as non-standard construction so getting a mortgage might not be easy? The house looks fine and looks like a normal house and also there are no signs of any problems inside. Thanks Mark
