Can you rent 3 bedroom property to a family of 6 with 4 children over 16 one girl, 3 boys in Glasgow?
yes. sounds reasonable.
I can’t. I don’t have any property in Glasgow.
You could they would then put in a social housing application on grounds they are over crowded and get a bigger tenancy or maybe the older kids will be able to get their own social housing tenancy if anything you will be doing them a huge favour.
This sounds like possible overcrowding and although Im not up on Scottish law, there are probably space standards similar to those in part X of the Housing Act 1985 in England.
You can’t put the girl & a boy in the same room but you can count a living room as a sleeping area, so this would not be overcrowded. Would you want 6 adults in one property? A lot of wear & tear, showering & washing!
I think that whether its overcrowded may depend on the room sizes.
Advice from Shelter
You’ll have mould in every room before you know it.
The flat across from me is 1 or 2 bedroom and I’m sure there is 6 or 7 family members Living
