Parking for repairs in CPZ

Hi, I’m not sure how I feel about agreeing to the tenant’s request to pay for visitor parking vouchers for the use of visiting tradesmen who are carrying out repairs - the latter also being at my expense.
Am I being unreasonable to expect them to pay for parking in the controlled parking zone? They are just young and not that well off, so maybe I should just put up and shut up.
What do other landlords think?

So, you are asking tradesmen to carry out repairs to your property, as per your Landlords responsibility for repairs / maintenance? If so, you pay for parking.

Yeah, fair enough. Cheers, David

I have never paid for a trades parking

That would be a Visitors pass ,optional on the tenant when mum and dad visit

Do you mean that your tenants paid?

No
I don’t really know what they do regarding parking
I just advise where they can or cannot park and leave it to them

Surely the tradesperson will know about this and will have factored it into the cost of the job

It’s a controlled paring zone with no nearby pay for parking bays. The only parking available is by resident permit or visitor parking vouchers. (A few larger companies pay for borough-wide permits but they are expensive and borough specific, so a single trader would have to buy two or three minimum.

I have worked on jobs where the householder had a yearly visitors permit. This is not rocket science Someone buy one!!!

No one says it’s rocket science.
My question was what people thought about who should pay.

Ah, ok. The issue is that there is nowhere to park without a visitor permit.

how much is a day permit ?

Tbh it’s not your problem
The trades should sort it out
That’s their job not yours
