Part way through HMO licensing but now need to sell property

I have almost completed the HMO licensing requirements, still a couple of forms and payment outstanding but I now need to sell the property, due to health reasons.

Should I complete the licensing and then put on the market or just stop the HMO process now and put on the market?

Any advice welcome, thank you.

If youre selling it with the tenants in situ then you will either have to complete the apication and pay, or apply for a Temporary Exemption Notice whilst you sell.
