I am planning on taking a Section 8 notice through the online PCOL service, Section 8 has been issued and 14 days notice expired. Tenant is now 3 months in arrears.
Does this allow you to start the eviction process as well as claim for rent arrears?
Do you know if remote hearings are allowed? ( I am based overseas)
Any idea how I could go about finding out how long its taking for court hearings in my area?
Any thoughts on the success rates of having LL legal costs attached to the tenant arrears?
The Tenant has funds and is employed but is trying to squeeze me for free rent for making deposit scheme payment late. I don’t think he will succeed on this and has never paid rent on time either, the house is a mess with trash spilling all around the property, even the council has been in touch. So just want an eviction and to move on asap, before funds for mortgage repayments expire…
