There’s a listing on here that I made an enquiry about when the rent was closed to £750 pcm, I forget the exact price, then it was reduced to £740 and now it’s gone up to £780.
Can a landlord keep changing the price about like this within such a short time.

What isnt allowed is rental bidding. If higher price reflects extra facilities for example, would be totally legal

If you can produce a copy of the listing showing it was £740, you could probably get it for that price. Landlords can’t charge more than the advertised price.
Yes the LL can but if you like the property and you present well why not offer 725 and come away with 750. I never minded a polite offer
