Property Management Agent Arranged Access to My Property Without My Permission

Can anyone please advise on this :
The flat below is instructing a solicitor to ask for entry into my property to investigate a roof terrace leak which is a shared responsibility for the freeholders (the lease was reviewed by senior leasehold advisor and they have advised after full examination of the lease), my property management agent provided them access without my permission, does the property management agent do so unlawfully? and what is their consequences?

The flat below’s solicitor is instructing building surveyor to investigate the leak given the fact that they have reached out to the freeholders and the freeholders’s agent have refused to get involved or carry out any works after initially instructing a contractor to investigate. Do I have a ground to refuse them access ?

I am worried that the flat below will now force me to pay for the repairs after the freeholders refused to, what should I do?

Thanks.

Why would you want to refuse? If you prevent access, the full costs of any damage are likely to fall on you.

I am not refusing entry, I am only asking the question if I have a ground to refuse entry. I have asked the property management agency to ask them to be in touch with me regarding entry instead of just providing them entry without my consent . I do have a right to understand what happened to last contractor visit instructed by the freeholder before another visit by building surveyor of their own. their solicitor is not disclosing any of such information. Also just for information , there is no leak at the moment , what they are trying to do is investigate what caused the moulds around the plywood roof decking under the membrane which they asked me to repair last time claiming it was caused by previous leaks from the roof terrace and I hence forwarded to them the lease review by the leasehold council.
