Morning all, we have literally viewed 10 houses in the past month and we are either drawing the short straw or the properties are simply not suitable when we arrive. I’m using all the relevant filters for our requirements. Is there somewhere on here we can create a property wanted ad so landlords can approach us direct? Thank you

In general though, OpenRent is set up for landlords to be able to list super-easily, meaning that all landlords who would be happy to have an OpenRent tenant should have their properties on the site already.

My latest advert attracted 18 view request in 4 days, with contract signed within 6 days of ad, so it’s competitive. My advise is get all your info ready for a landlord, to sell yourself as the ideal tenant, check twice a day for new ads, or set up alerts, look wider than your criteria as you may find a property you want that is not 100%, and view asap. Be ready if you like it to say so at viewing and ask to place holding deposit immediately…….otherwise you may never find anything…
