Rent Guarantee Insurance rejected for joint tenancies?

Hi I can’t see how it is possible to get Rent Guarantee Insurance because this is only available where tenants pass referencing and the referencing is based on the whole amount of the property rent even though each tenant only pays for one room.

Should I just put in the rent amount per room instead of the total rent or is there another way to do this as all my references come back rejected?

I just wouldn’t bother with RGI if I were you. Too much hassle and not enough confidence that they will ever pay out.
