Hello everyone, we have recently mutually agreed to raise the rent with the tenant. My question is when could we raise it again? Tenancy agreement is up at the end of May, and where changing it to a rolling contract after that.
Thank you for any help
You can agree with the tenant to raise the rent at any time you want. If the tenant doesnt agree, then the next time you can impose an increase is either when the tenancy goes periodic through a s13 notice or if there is a rent review clause in the contract, you must follow that.
Best practice is no more than once a year.
