Rent Now Tenancy Agreement

Hi All,
I am a LL and in the process of renting my property via Rent Now. The tenancy agreement gives the tenant the option of paying a traditional cash deposit or using the reposit scheme which I believe is a No Deposit Insurance. When I listed the property I did not stipulate that the tenants could use a No Deposit Scheme.

Does OR offer another tenancy type or do I have to go ahead with this one.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Christopher32 -

When I listed the property I did not stipulate that the tenants could use a No Deposit Scheme.

When you go to configure your contract, you can decide whether to allow the deposit replacement option or not. It’s fully up to the landlord.

The setting is called: “Allow Deposit Replacement” on your contract configuration screen.

Thanks,
Daz.
