Schedule 2 Notice - Anything to be concerned about?

I have been helping a friend who has just moved into a rented property. On looking through the documents she was given at the start of the tenancy, there are 2 Schedule 2 notices that my friend was made to sign. One is relating to Ground 1 (the landlord having previously lived in the property and may at some point wish to move back) and the other is Ground 2 (The dwelling-house is subject to a mortgage granted before the beginning of the tenancy…)

I’ve never heard of Schedule 2 before seeing these documents so I’m just wondering if it’s anything my friend should be concerned about.

I suspect it’s just standard practice for the particular estate agents but you never know these days.

Theyre both standard clauses. All landlords with a mortgage on the property are required by the lender to have the clause in their contracts.

Thanks David, I’d never come across them before so good to know they are standard.
