Im desperate for some advise please. I am so upset. My neighbours dog has been barking for 2 years whikst shes at work. 1 day i had enough and asked her to shut her dog up. Its npw escalated and she approached the landlady and exaggerated my 16 year old sons behaviour with friends, and said i was agressive and rude. The landlady has asked me to leave, giving me notice. I approached a local authority housing rental place to rent somewhere else as cant afford anything else, and my landlady has sent a bad reference. I have never paid my rent late, or damaged her property, or anything to be fair. Now the local authority place will not find me a new home. I am absolutely destraught and have visions of sleeping on the streets. Any advise please ? Can the ex landlady revoke the bad reference? This is gonna stuff me for futire properties and where i live, rentals are in huge demand where the landlady can cherry pick her tenants !
