Hi, I cannot allow my house to be held from me if section 21 is abolished under Labour. I am planning to sell but was waiting 6/12 months When should I give my tenants notice to leave? Any thoughts please?
Give them the required notice which is typically 2 months if on a periodic tenancy.
Consider warning them of your intentions before this though to encourage looking elsewhere as may take a lot longer than 2 months.
