Standing order failure

I am a new renter and this was the first month my standing order was due, should have been paid today. My bank alerted me that the payment wasn’t possible and the openrent details either didn’t match or incorrect. I spoke with them and they manually tried to set it up whilst I was on the phone without success.

I have let my landlord know and messaged openrent but this seems really odd. I don’t want to be late with payment. Has anyone else experienced this?

If you have online banking then I suggest you pay the landlord directly until the bank resolves the standing order issue. Id ask the landlord to re-confirm their bank details in writing though.
