Hi as mentioned on previous post, while carrying out an inspection of my property I found that my tenants who are a couple moved her mum in 6 months ago.
I explained that they were in breach of contract, so I went round next day with a form asking the girls mother to fill her details in so I would know who the hell this woman is and who I was dealing with.
I posted the form through letter box but have had no response at all.
I texted both tenants on their personal phones no answer
So what can I do now if tenants just don’t want to talk to me in the hope I go away
Thanks for any advice
Rob
I would send a more formal letter that is worded in more legal fashion (used ChatGPT) highlighting which clause they are in breach of. Suggest also stating that this document has been sent registered mail and via email (as per your lease agreement…how are notices to be sent?) and you have also attempted to contact them by text message but have not received a response.
Then state that unless you receive the signed document back within 5 business days (unless you have some other notice term in the lease?) you will excercise your legal right to enforce the terms of the lease including eviction.
Good luck.
