I would like to take a higher value holding deposit (1 months rent) that would be transferred into the deposit scheme upon our tenants moving in. I believe the £200 that Openrent collect is fixed and cant be changed? Therefore does anyone have any advise on how to proceed because I would still like my tenants to use the Rent Now option with all the subsequent services that I have paid for…
e.g. If I hold onto a larger security deposit (minus the £200 that they pay to Openrent) can I make the transfer into the deposit scheme? And does it screw with all the subsequent services!?
