Can Landlord add to Tenancy Agreement Terms " if tenant need support from government funds( hosing benefits or universal credit) Tenant must let the Landlord know before proceeding". ?

you can add whatever you wish . It is your property

Yes. Changes in financial circumstances. Similar to how you need to inform your mortgage provider if you cannot meet your payments.

Do whatever you can within the law to limit your risk exposure.

Hi @Afam1, you can add custom clauses to the OpenRent AST. We have a guide on how to do that here.

Do note, however, that we don’t guarantee the enforceability of custom clauses.
