My tenants deposit is with DPS we are renewing the agreement for another year.
So the difference in deposit is £115 what is the best way forward?
Do I just top up the deposit and reissue the PI?
If you mean the rent has gone up, then there is no need to “top up” the deposit and most landlords wouldnt.
There is also no need to “renew” the tenancy. Better for you to let it go periodic.
I don’t bother adjusting the deposit with a rent rise and neither do I issue new contracts.
