Tenancy ended and tenanta hasnt returned house or room key. She also stole from the other tenant and hasnt settled bills. What now?
Do you know she has definitely left?
How did the tenancy end?.. Did she give notice, or did you issue Section 21?
Do you hold a deposit in a deposit scheme?
She handed in notice a month ago and moved out yesterday. She was supposed to leave her keys yesterday or hand in today, but has disappeared. Depoait is with mydesposits. Been on hold for 30 minutes, listening to irritating music.
Personally, if she had given notice, and you are sure she has left, Iād change the locks & deduct from the deposit.

I would agree with Karl11s suggestion provided her notice was valid or formally accepted by you.

I would as a matter of security change locks anyway and did the other tenants report the crime?
