How can my prospective tenant pay the holding deposit directly to me and not Open Tent. They are abroad and can’t go to a UK branch.

They must pay directly to Openrent using a UK payment card, if you are using Openrent RentNow.

If you intend to take the holding deposit directly, then I would suggest you source a good holding deposit agreement form and get that agreed first. Otherwise its pretty pointless taking a holding deposit as you would struggle to justify keeping the money if the tenant doesn’t know the terms on which its being taken.
