Tenant's mum on Universal Credit

Hi Guys

I m new Landlord, Advert on Openrent. Someone asked mum is on UC and Daughter work full time. good ref: and stable income. I never deal with UC before, Any suggestion would be appreciated.

@Kay8 check their affordability exactly as you would for any other potential tenant, understand their circumstances (have they rented together before etc). Ask how they plan to pay the rent

Check the LHA for your property

Specifjcally check the Mother’s entitlement to LHA as this van be affected by another working member of the household.
