We had enough of our agent so we terminated our contract as soon as tenant left. Now there is a dispute for the deposit between us and the tenant. We have switched agents who are renting our flat out again but the deposit from old tenant is still handled by the older agent.
The deposit sits with DPS.
We want to make sure the agent is handling it professionally even though theyre not our agent anymore, how can we see or control what is being uploaded and make sure it is handled honestly? We heard that we can be authorised to be added on the website to monitor and upload proof if needed be. Does anyone have any information on this? Thank you in advance
