Anyone give me an insight into renting to a couple from Ukrainian ?
I have a Ukrainian couple request a viewing of my property. I assume they will have the same issues of referencing and affordability as any other Non UK National?
I am not familiar with the process of renting to anyone from abroad.
I always ask non-UK nationals (where I can’t do credit checks) to pay at least 6 months in advance. Can they do it? Also, have they got steady employment in the UK with enough money to comfortably afford the property? Not sure if they can provide and UK-based home-owning guarantor. That would offset the risks somewhat.
