Hi everyone.
I’ve been with a social housing firm for the past 15-16 years and it’s time to move on. Noisy nearly tenants and being a bit closer to work are two reasons for this decision to move.
This will be the first time I’m going to rent with a private landlord. So far I’ve applied for two flats from Open Rent via Right Move and a dozen more from estate agents via RightMove.
I’m hardly having any luck though, the occasional ‘We got your letter an will be in touch soon’ is all I get.
I’m not sure if I’m doing anything wrong on the first message to the agency, a polite post of requesting a viewing.
I was wondering if other renters on here would say that they too don’t get many replies - possibly because lots of people are after the same property?
I note several of the properties I originally enquired about are actually still listed on the websites.
