This is what I received from a potential tenant (see below). Are there any of you who are doing it and are you happy?
My company, work with landlords and agents across London - we have 15 properties under a company let. We are not an agency so don’t take a penny from you.
We take properties on long term lets of 3-5 years and guarantee your rent, dealing with all maintenance through out the entire contract. We also have a cleaning team to do regular cleans.
We work with various client’s for example contractors, staff from care companies and our biggest client’s are insurance companies- whenever a family needs to be relocated due to works at there house, my company is contacted.
Essentially we get paid from our clients, and we have a massive demand in the area but just not enough supply, which is why i am expressing interest in your property
I watched the lecture, I hope I understood most of it. In essence, just Social landlords are the only remaining players that can easily get their property back…
There have been numerous occurrences of these types of tenancies going wrong on documentaries such as slum landlords. I would avoid. I think the only time I’d consider it was if someone wanted to use my house for offering short term lets (Airbnb etc) but even then I’m not convinced it’s a good idea.
