A teacher from Hong Kong will arrive in UK in coming April and would like to rent an apartment in Edinburgh for six months more. However, I don’t have a UK credit history and am not offered a job in UK yet. I can provide the potential landlord with the HSBC UK bank statements, letter of leave from my precious employer and credit report of Hong Kong and willing to pay six months of rent upfront. Is it likely that I can find an apartment in May 2022 as I am staying in AirBnB from April 5 to May 5 and would like to find one before May 5.
