I have paid to become an approved tenant and my report states I’m not on the electoral roll. I am, and have confirmed this with the council. I always have been on the electoral roll whenever I have moved homes. Why is this? I’m not happy at all as this is worrying and frustrating…
Do you mean you paid for referencing? Its illegal for the landlord to charge you for that. Are you sure you didnt pay a holding deposit? Who produced the referencing report? If it was through Openrent you can contact them to straighten it out.
I paid for it via open rent, something they offer. But on the report generated it says not on electoral roll, checked all my credit reports and shows as on the roll so I’m so confused. Have contacted open rent but no response yet
