Openrent Referencing Nightmare

Hi all

Anyone here had experience of openrent Referencing service? Sharing my experience below and would be interested if anyone else has gone through this and how they dealt with it.
So prospective tenant has 2 small value CCJs and their reference report can back as applicant declined which makes sense. So they provided a guarantor who earns more than enough. he completed the openrent form and was declined! report states they cannot verify his identity even though there is a clear picture of his passport on the reference report. He earns £6k a month and provided access to openrent via openbanking. Yet openrent only verified less than half of it as income. Called and emailed Openrent several times but no-one seems to know what they are taking about. All you get your through is an admin team and the reference team hide behind emails.
Tenant has now sent me details of another house they have taken where references came back in less than a day without any issues whatsoever. Feel gutted as lost a good tenant!!

We had a problem with referencing of one of ours. Her own report from experian came ba k fine but the openrent came back a fail. I ignored it and went with hers anyway.
