How does the ordering of services through open rent work.
I am trying to book a gas safety check in for a rented property however when i put the site property address and post code in then put my bank details in -the transaction is rejected due to postcode validation?
I am failing to understand the logic of the site ordering tbh
Thanks for your message and sorry to hear of the difficulty with this.
When ordering our services you will need to first enter the address where the service is to take place (i.e. typically your rental property address), then when you come to pay you will be requested to enter the postcode of the address that your card is registered to (i.e. typically your home address).

Right- i have sorted the problem.
I have ordered 2 gas safety checks and services .
They are currently booked under your system as 10 Royal Crescent Stranraer DG9 8HB
Property addresses for service are:
14A Bridge Street Stranraer DG9 7HY
14B Bridge Street Stranraer DG9 7HY
Don’t know why you don’t ask for the location in you application –is beyond me.
I hope the engineer doesn’t mess up because with your booking system the chance of that is high.
