Hi,
The landlord has just activated our break clause and given the required two months notice. The last day of our tenancy is 5th March.
We have found a new place, but it would require moving in by end of January.
Can we leave our current place earlier than the 5th March (let say a whole month earlier, so 5th Feb) without being penalised financially? Or is the landlord “entitled to” the last months rent?
