i know i can’t “hold” more than 1 - but when i request it they have to actually send me it. do i then get a prompt to accept/reject if i receive a few? how long do i get to accept?
As soon as the first one sends you one (on Openrent) no one else can send one. So you should monitor it quickly and reject immediately if they haven’t seen the property or agreed with you beforehand.

Taking more than one holding deposit would be a breach of the Tenant Fees Act
