Card Payments Refused

Payments with the Visa card of the default bank account associated with our account have been repeatedly and inexplicably rejected with the message that “This transaction requires authentication”. It seems that OpenRent is saying this is a problem at the bank and the bank says no transaction has been rejected because no request was received from OpenRent. We retried today while on the phone to the bank and got the same result: the bank says no request was received and “please consult the retailer.” We have made the payment successfully using another bank, but would like to fix this problem for the future to keep OpenRent income and outgoings in the same account.
