Changing tenancy from wife to husband

I have some very nice tenants from abroad and the wife has to move out of the area for work reasons ( I think it’s sponsorship ) and the tenancy is in her name and she gave notice

However the husband wants to stay and wants the tenancy in his name , usually I would suspect a scam however they are always polite and paid their rent in time etc so I believe it’s genuine
Anyway do I just do a new 6mth ast tenancy in his name ? , they usually have a rent review in July ( for august ) so how would that work , shall I do the new tenancy with the rent review included ?
I’ve checked pay and it looks like he can afford the rent etc

Do all the checks as if he were a new tenant
Right to rent etc etc
If you want to write an new AST I firm him that the rent will be whatever you intend it to be
So you can set it to a new level in the AST

And be aware that if she is moving out if area although they may say to you they are ok with it he may decide to move at a later date too
